I. Printing Quality
1. Text and Graphics: Use standard Chinese characters. Pictographs should conform to standards (e.g., black symbols + white background + red border). Text and background colors should have high contrast (e.g., black and white).
2. Borders and Blank Space: Add a black border (≥1mm width) to the label edge, with a blank space of ≥3mm outside the border to ensure the pictographs remain visible at a distance or in smoky conditions.
II. Location Selection
1. Placement: Labels should be affixed to a prominent location on the packaging or container, such as the side of the drum/bottle, the end or side of the box, or a prominent location on the bag/bundle.
2. Multi-layer Packaging: Labels must be affixed to the inner packaging. If the outer packaging already has a label and the inner packaging label is translucent, an additional label is not required. If the outer packaging is opaque, the inner packaging label must be clearly visible.
III. Materials and Durability
1. Printing Materials: Must be waterproof and durable to ensure they do not peel off or become damaged during transportation and storage. 2. Adhesive Materials: Ensure a firm bond to prevent labels from detaching due to environmental factors (such as moisture or friction).
IV. Other Precautions
1. Simplified Labeling: Small packages (≤100mL) can have simplified labeling, but must retain core information such as chemical symbols, pictograms, and signal words.
2. Label Updates: Labels must be revised promptly when new hazards or changes in composition emerge.
