I. Basic Posting Standards
1. Location Requirements: Post in a prominent and easily visible location, ideally at eye level (approximately 1.5-2.0 meters). The angle between the sign's plane and eye level should be no less than 75°. No obstructions should be placed in front of the sign to prevent reading. Do not post on movable objects such as doors or windows.
2. Arrangement Rules: When multiple safety labels are posted simultaneously, they must be arranged in the following order: Warning (yellow), Prohibition (red), Instruction (blue), and Reminder (green), from left to right and top to bottom. Labels involving hazardous chemicals must be placed separately in the first row.
3. Fixing Requirements: Use waterproof and durable adhesive materials or nails/hooks to secure the label, ensuring it does not fall off during transportation and storage. Removable tape can be used for temporary installations. The label must be upright and not tilted, facing the viewer directly. II. Specific Requirements for Hazardous Chemical Safety Labels
1. Corresponding Labeling Locations for Different Packaging Types: For drum/bottle-shaped packaging, the label should be affixed to the side; for box-shaped packaging, it should be affixed to the end or a prominent side; for bag/bundle packaging, it should be affixed to a prominent overall location. Both inner and outer packaging must have corresponding labels affixed.
2. For dual-hazardous products (products that are both hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods), the transport label can be affixed back-to-back with the GHS safety label. If the pictogram is repeated, the corresponding duplicate pattern in the GHS must be removed.
3. For containers whose hazards have not been completely eliminated, the safety label must not be removed without authorization. The label update cycle must not exceed 5 years.
III. Subsequent Maintenance and Management
Regularly check labels for damage, fading, or obstruction, and replace or clean them promptly. When the layout or processes change, adjust the label positions accordingly to ensure the continued effectiveness of the warning information.
